The Rudgear Estates, and surrounding neighborhood, is an excellent location for all types of people and families.
The Rudgear Estate begins just West of Palmer Rd and is bordered to the South by Rudgear Rd. It extends East to the end of Whitecliff Way until it ends at the Shell Ridge Open Space.
The location is activity-rich for outdoorsy people, families and children. It is also a scenic and tranquil place for elderly who are looking for such an environment
Grab your towel and walk down to the Rudgear community pool, home of the Rudgear Rats Swim Team, and swim some laps or relax in the sun. Take your dog for a walk on the nearby trails or up into the Walnut Creek open space. Kids, both young and school aged, love to play at Rudgear Park. Play structures, sand, tennis courts, basket ball court, open grass areas and a baseball field can be found in the park. Looking for some “me time”? Treat yourself to a picnic in the park, or play a game of tennis on one of the several tennis courts located within Rudgear Park. If you’re really bored, drop by my house and say hello, I'm just down the street!
Rudgear Estates is located about one mile from the 680N and 680S on-ramps, which can make for a quicker commute. Broadway Plaza, Whole Foods and downtown Walnut Creek is conveniently nearby.
The homes in Rudgear Estates are assigned to fantastic schools. Nearby Walnut Heights Elementary, Indian Valley Elementary and Murwood Elementary both hold A ratings as well as Las Lomas High school.
Some of my favorite things about the area are the friendly neighbors, the neighborhood parties, the holiday spirit, the ability to ride our bikes to Alamo and Danville for lunch in the Summer time, the scenery and wildlife and the list never ends.
In closing, Rudgear Estates is a scenic, safe, conveniently located and beautiful East Bay Area neighborhood to call home.
